SRSP Parents’ Day 2026 – Celebrating Love, Faith and Family Together at Sekolah Rendah Seri Presbyterian Batu Pahat

At SRSP – Sekolah Rendah Seri Presbyterian (Primary School Batu Pahat, Johor), we believe that education goes far beyond textbooks and examinations. A child’s success is built upon a strong partnership between the school and the family. This belief came alive during our joyful Parents’ Day 2026, held during our Kidz Club session on 19 June 2026.

The celebration brought together students, parents, teachers and school leaders for a meaningful morning filled with love, laughter, learning and precious family moments. More than just a school event, Parents’ Day reminded us that when parents and educators work hand in hand, children develop confidence, character and lifelong values.

A Warm Gathering for Every Family

Parents arrived with smiles as children eagerly welcomed them into the school hall. Throughout the programme, families enjoyed spending quality time together while witnessing the growth and confidence of our students.

The atmosphere was filled with excitement as children proudly participated in every activity alongside their parents. The event provided an opportunity for families to slow down from their busy schedules and simply enjoy being together.

At SRSP, we treasure these moments because they strengthen relationships that continue beyond the classroom.

Inspiring Parenting Message by Pastor Neo Soon Siak

One of the highlights of the programme was an inspiring sharing session by Pastor Neo Soon Siak.

His message focused on two important topics every family can relate to:

• Understanding parents’ expectations
• Building healthy communication between parents and children

The session encouraged parents to listen with patience, communicate with love, and guide their children with wisdom and understanding.

As children grow academically, they also need emotional support, encouragement and positive conversations at home. This meaningful sharing reminded everyone that strong communication creates stronger families.

Family Games Filled with Joy and Laughter

Parents’ Day would not be complete without some exciting games!

Families participated in fun activities that required teamwork, listening skills and cooperation.

One of the games challenged parents and children to carefully follow instructions together. The activity demonstrated how communication, trust and encouragement help families achieve success.

Five finalist families were awarded mini hampers as prizes, but every participating family left with wonderful memories and happy smiles.

The laughter throughout the hall perfectly captured the spirit of the celebration.

A Special Souvenir for Every Family

To conclude the celebration, every family received a special souvenir to commemorate SRSP Parents’ Day 2026.

The souvenir symbolised our appreciation for the continuous trust, encouragement and partnership that parents have shown towards the school.

Every parent plays an irreplaceable role in shaping a child’s future, and SRSP is grateful to walk this educational journey together with every family.
